The computer screen has itunes open. The Really Rosie poster is obviously Sendak- see if you can guess the others. The pencil is a regular 4B pencil- used until a scant inch remains. And yes, I really sculpt heads in the manner shown. As for the creatures living under the desk, I have no idea how they got there. I had a question about how I curled the hair. Generally, I'll untwist strands of acrylic yarn, but not finding the right color, I wrapped embroidery thread around a paint brush, sprayed it with water, and let it sit overnight before unwrapping. So far, none of the curls have fallen out.

I'm always really impressed with the household items you transform into props for your illustration set-ups. small store-bought food containers as miniature storage bins? Brilliant! And I love the straw and wire bicycle you made a while back.
