Drawing at the Theatre

This year, the Adirondack Theater Festival is working with Jenny Hutchinson to present TOONing In. A number of artists are drawing the shows during tech rehearsals. Our work is then displayed during the run of the show.  The sketch above is from last night's Spontaneous Broadway. The performance was hilarious. In the first act, actors use audience prompts to suggest possible musicals to an investor, singing a song from the fake musical they're presenting. During intermission, the audience votes for their favorite by writing pretend checks. The second act is the musical the audience voted for. It was great fun. The preview night (tonight) is sold out, so I recommend calling now to reserve tickets.
